A very popular damper specialist is planning to expand its presence in the country of China. The company is investing in some new production capacities in the region of Changzhou. They are preparing to dispatch electronically adjustable dampers systems and have already received several production orders from many of the Chinese manufacturers of electric vehicles. The work of setting up the new production line began at the beginning of this year. The test phase and the product introduction are due to begin in mid-2021 and are expected to become fully operational by the year 2022.
The CEO of the company Peter Klaus Kirner said –
“The growing market for electric vehicles in China is of great interest to us. Especially as many Chinese OEMs are strongly focused on the premium segment and value our products and system capabilities very highly. For us, now is the right time to intensify our activities on the Chinese market.”
Recently the company has also made some strategic investments in Eastern Europe and Mexico and has also expanded the production network and customer in these markets. This new production line in China is being built in the Tyson group automatic site in Changzhou. This company has already been producing powertrain components since the year 2014. They are one of the most well-known manufacturers of damper systems.
