Tiger Woods was involved in a dangerous car crash in the month of February and had been recovering at home after several weeks in the hospital. He recently tweeted on Tuesday, saying that “Happy to report that I’m back home and continuing my recovery. He further added saying, “I am so grateful for the support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks.”
The accident happened on the 23rd of February near Los Angeles, where his SUV hit a sign and crossed a center divider, and traveled about 150 feet across the shoulder of the road. He sustained injuries and cuts, and multiple fractures in his right leg. He was treated at Harbour UCLA Medical Center in Torrance but was again transferred to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. This was done in order to continue his orthopedic care and recovery.
The golfer also thanked the staff of the hospital for taking good care of him and said that he would soon be going to his house to recover and is working on getting stronger each day. Woods has won 14 golf majors from 1997 to 2008. His fans are already expecting him to return to the game and have wished him recovery on Twitter.
