The Flash is about to welcome another upcoming child of Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton), and he might just be a very recognizable face. Jordan Fisher is formally joining the show since Bart Allen, also called Impulse.
Here is the character description: “The upcoming son of Barry Allen and Iris West- Allen, Bart is your quickest teenager on the planet! But due to Bart’s penchant for wildly impulsive behavior, stunned parents Barry and Iris have their hands full trying to teach their new son patience. But it is a task they’ll need to accomplish, in order for their family to work together and prevent Team Flash’s biggest threat yet!”
This information brings up a slew of questions which will hopefully be answered shortly, such as what does this mean for Barry and Iris’ other kid, Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy)?
Nora showed up in year four and aided screw a number of things up before her timeline got erased in the conclusion of year five, apparently erasing her. Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) eventually spotted her at a potential future, which means she could reunite, so hopefully Nora did not get fully replaced with Bart.
From the comic books, Bart is really Barry’s grandson, but that’s clearly been changed for the show. The Flash has done a musical before, so why not another? Why don’t you help send Supergirl off using a second crossover musical occasion? Why hire a singer and dancer like Fisher if you’re not going to really use all his skills? We’re just saying.

We also must point out that Fisher is a very talented singer and singer who starred in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and won Dancing With the Stars. Of course, before Bart can make his debut, Barry and Iris have to deal with the enduring trauma brought on by Iris’ time at the Mirrorverse and figure out how on earth Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Killer Frost (also Danielle Panabaker) split into two.
