According to the listing brokerage, only two months after listing his Colorado estate for $39.5 million, actor Tom Cruise has sold the 320-acre estate for the total asking price.
For privacy, Tom Cruise’s 320-acre estate in Telluride is nestled in the mountains.
The Wall Street Journal first reported the sale on Friday. According to listing agent Dan Dockray of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, the Telluride property went under contract within the first week on the market.
A large island with wood paneling graces the kitchen.
The elegant wood-heavy home features beamed ceilings and large windows.
The home was publicly available for sale for the first time in March when the listing debuted. In 2014, Cruise, best known for his roles in “Top Gun” and “Vanilla Sky,” among other films, hired a broker to market the property under the radar for a much higher $59 million asking price.
It can accommodate a pool table in a nearly 10,000-square-foot home.
Cruise spent several years designing the home, which featured stone and cedar accents, and was completed in 1994. The home, which is nestled in the mountains, has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and it is designed for privacy. It is also accessible via a one-mile driveway and is hidden behind a gate.
There are outdoor lounge areas.
The main house is nearly 10,000 square feet in size and features a chef’s kitchen, wood-beamed ceilings, and oversize windows with views of the mountains. A gym, a three-car garage, and entertaining outdoor areas are among the other amenities.
There is also a three-bedroom guest lodge on the grounds.
