Ant-third Man’s solo film, directed by Paul Rudd, will feature new characters and old ones. Evangeline Lilly will reprise her role as the eponymous Wasp in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” in which she will compete alongside Ant-Man against Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors). Marvel is most likely looking for an actress to play an unnamed leading role.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, the studio is looking for a young actress between nine and twelve, regardless of origin. The new actress must be able to sing, dance, and perform comedic roles.
Since the plot of the Marvel film is still unknown, we can speculate whether we can expect a musical number in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
A musical number would be appropriate for the Marvel films. It would not be surprising to see comedic moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The movie always has blended action, drama, and comedy. A musical number would be the logical next step.
It could be easily incorporated into a dream sequence, for example, without turning the third “Ant-Man” film into a pure musical. A few scenes in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” film with Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) have already demonstrated that they can incorporate dance interludes into the MCU.
Marvel fans can look forward to new additions to “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” But we also have to say goodbye to the famous trio of Michael Pena (Luis), Davis Dastmalchian (Kurst), and Tip “TI” Harris (Dave).
The latter will no longer be included in the MCU. This is most likely due to a legal battle involving him and his wife. Peyton Reed, who directed the first two “Ant-Man” films, will lead the third. As of now, fans can look forward to “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in 2023, at the very least.
